Sending a message to Nova uses one AI credit. The number of credits you have depends on your plan: 3 on Free, 15 on Start, 35 on Build, 85 on Grow, and 200 on Scale. Credits reset every month. Browsing your project, editing manually in Edit Mode, and publishing do not use credits.
No. Nova is for non-technical users too. You describe what you want in plain language and Nova does the rest. If you want to make code-level edits, the Code Editor is available, but it's optional.
Yes, using the Start plan or higher. Connect a domain you own, and Nova handles the publishing.
Write a follow-up prompt describing what you'd like to change, or use the Revert to Previous Version feature to go back to any earlier state of your project.

  • Grow (£39.99 a month) publishes up to 15 projects with 85 credits a month, and can recreate an existing website from its address.
  • Scale (£99.99 a month) is for agencies and busy builders: 30 projects and 200 credits a month.

Questions

Should I choose Nova, Site Builder or WordPress?

Choose Nova if you'd rather describe your site than build it, or you need something that does a job, like a booking form or a calculator. Choose Site Builder or Weebly if you want to drag and drop every element yourself. Choose WordPress Hosting if you need WordPress plugins or a large blog.

Do I need web hosting as well?

No. Nova publishes and hosts your project itself, so you don't need a hosting plan for it. You'll want a domain name, which you can register with us.

Can I use a domain I bought from MyWebsiteHost?

Yes, on the Start plan or above. Connect the domain in Nova, then point it at your project. If your domain is registered with us and you're not sure which settings to change, open a ticket and we'll do it for you.

Is my project private until I publish it?

Yes. Nobody can see your project, and search engines can't find it, until you publish it to a domain or share its preview link.

What happens when my credits run out?

Your project stays as it is, and you can still view and share it. Credits refill every month on your billing date. Unused credits don't carry over. If you need more before then, move up a plan.

Can I change plan later?

Yes. You can move up or down at any time, and an upgrade gives you the extra credits and features straight away.
