Your Managed VPS can host up to 50 domains across up to 10 DirectAdmin user accounts. You can keep everything under one login, or give each website or client a login of its own.
One login or several?
- One login is simplest if all the websites are yours. Add each one under Domain Setup in your own account.
- Separate user accounts make sense if you host sites for clients, or want to keep websites apart. Each user gets their own DirectAdmin login, files, databases and FTP accounts, and can only see their own sites.
Add a website to your own account
- Open Domain Setup.
- Click Add Domain, enter the domain name and save.
- Upload the site to that domain's
public_htmlfolder, then point the domain's A record at your server.
Create a separate user account
- Switch to Reseller level in DirectAdmin, using the level switch in the top menu.
- Open Add New User.
- Enter a username, email address, password and the user's first domain, choose a package and create the account.
The new user logs in at the same control panel address with their own username and password.
Packages
A package sets how much disk space, how many domains and how many databases a user can have. Create packages under Manage User Packages at Reseller level. Leave email accounts at 0: email isn't hosted on the server.
