Nova uses AI credits. This article explains what uses them, how many each plan includes, and what happens when they run out.
What uses a credit
Each message you send Nova uses one credit, whether it's a new idea or a change to your project. These don't use credits:
- browsing and previewing your project,
- editing by hand in Edit Mode,
- publishing.
To get the most from your credits, make each message count. Ask for related changes together, and use Improve Prompt before you build so the first version is closer to what you want.
The plans
| Plan | Price | AI credits | Published projects |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | Free | 3 (one-off) | Preview link only |
| Start | £9.99 a month | 15 a month | 1 |
| Build | £19.99 a month | 35 a month | 5 |
| Grow | £39.99 a month | 85 a month | 15 |
| Scale | £99.99 a month | 200 a month | 30 |
Every paid plan includes unlimited drafts. Each plan also adds features to the one before it:
- Start: publishing to your own domain, prompting with images and file attachments, Typeform and Google Forms, visitor analytics and a database.
- Build: project instructions, custom image generation, code search and editing, and page performance analytics.
- Grow: video generation, and recreating an existing website from its address.
- Scale: early access to new features.
When your credits run out
Your project stays exactly as it is, and you can still view and share it. Credits refill on your billing date each month. Unused credits don't carry over to the next month.
If you need more before then, upgrade your plan from your client area. An upgrade gives you the extra credits straight away.
Credits used on something that went wrong
If Nova said it had made a change but didn't, or clearly failed to do what you asked, open a ticket with the details and we'll look into it.
Changing plan
You can move up or down a plan at any time. To change plan, open your Nova service in your client area and choose Upgrade/Downgrade, or open a ticket.
