WordPress and most other web applications store their content in a MySQL database. Open Account Manager → Databases to create one, manage who can access it, or open phpMyAdmin to look inside it.
To create a database, scroll to Create Database, type a short name after the prefix shown (for example your username followed by _wp) and click Create. The Hosting Panel creates a database user with the same name and a secure password, and shows you all three. Copy the database name, username and password straight into your application's installer; the database host is localhost. Tick Advanced mode first if you would rather choose the username and password yourself.
The Databases List at the top shows each database with its size, number of users and number of tables. The Actions menu on each row lets you download a backup of it, upload a backup into it, change its users or delete it. Manage Users at the top lists the database users and lets you change a password, which is the usual fix when an application reports it cannot connect.
phpMyAdmin, also at the top of the page, opens the database editor in a new tab, signed in automatically. Use it to run a search-and-replace, export a backup, or fix a setting an application has lost. Be careful: changes made there take effect immediately and there is no undo, so export the database first.
