Answer a few questions when you order: what you do, the pages you want and a few sites you like. We get in touch within one working day to talk it through.
2 We design and build it
We put together a first draft of your site, built by hand for your business rather than squeezed into a template.
3 Two rounds of changes
Tell us what you'd like changed, in one list per round. You can see your project's progress and upload photos in the client area.
4 We put it live
Once you're happy and the balance is paid, we publish it on your hosting with us and connect your domain.

Unused time doesn't carry over. Extra time is £50 an hour, charged in 15-minute blocks, and new pages or features are quoted first.
Yours, not rented
Some website offers are cheap or free to build because the cost is somewhere else: the domain is in the designer's name, or the site only works on their platform, tied to a contract you can't leave.
Ours works the other way round. You pay for the build, and what you get is yours. If you ever want to move, you take the domain and the site's files with you, and they work anywhere.
Questions
How long does it take?
Most brochure sites take two to four weeks from the day we have your text, logo and photos. The thing that slows a build down most is waiting for content, so the sooner you send it, the sooner you're live.
Do I need hosting as well?
Yes. Your site is published on one of our hosting plans, billed separately. Web Starter, from £5.99 a month, is enough for most brochure sites. If you already host with us, we use the plan you have. We'll suggest the right one when we talk through your brief.
Can I edit the site myself?
Your site is built by hand rather than in a page builder, which is why it has no plugins to update and is hard to break. Changes come through us instead: open a ticket, or choose a Site Care plan for a set amount of change time each month.
Why not WordPress?
WordPress is great if you want to manage your own site, and we host it too. But it needs regular plugin and core updates, and an out-of-date plugin is the most common way small business sites get hacked. A hand-built site has none of that to look after.
What do I pay, and when?
The package is £795. You pay a £400 deposit when you order and the £395 balance before your site goes live. Extra pages or features are quoted first. We're not VAT registered, so there's no VAT to add.
Who writes the words?
You can send us your own text, send notes for us to polish, or ask us to write it. Writing your text from scratch is quoted separately, because it depends on how many pages and how much there is to say.
What if I want to move my site elsewhere one day?
The domain is registered in your name and the finished site is yours. Open a ticket and we'll give you a copy of the site's files, which work on any host. Hosting and care plans are monthly, with no minimum term.
Can you build a shop or something bigger?
Yes, but it isn't a brochure site, so we'll quote for it. Open a ticket with what you have in mind and we'll come back with a price and what's included.
